Your privacy matters.
This notice describes the features currently implemented on TrendyIdeas. Last updated October 17, 2026.
Saved ideas stay in your browser
The save feature stores article identifiers in your browser’s local storage. It does not require an account or send your saved list to our database. Clear your browser’s site data to remove the list. Your saved ideas do not automatically sync between devices.
Email signups
When you choose to subscribe, we store your email address, signup time, consent record and a private unsubscribe identifier. Our newsletter is being prepared, so signing up joins the list for future emails; it does not trigger an immediate email. We use this information to manage the subscription you requested.
Contact messages
When you use our contact form, we store your name, email address, chosen topic, message, submission time and consent record to review and respond to your request. Your message is private and does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Temporary hashed email counters help prevent spam. To ask us to remove a message, email support@trendyideas.store from the address you used in the form and include your message reference if you have it.
Abuse prevention
We temporarily store hashed email identifiers and request counters to limit repeated signup attempts. These counters expire automatically after their retention window, normally within a few hours. The application does not intentionally log your submitted email address or database credentials.
External services
Our inspiration photography and fonts are served by our website. Following a retailer or Pinterest link takes you to another service with its own privacy practices. Affiliate links may allow retailers to attribute eligible purchases.
Your choices and removal
Subscribing is optional. Every newsletter will include a personal unsubscribe link. Confirming that request removes the associated signup record. We keep subscription information while you remain on the list; it is not used to create a public profile or sold as a mailing list.
Hosting and changes
Our hosting and database providers may process technical connection data needed to serve and protect the site. We currently do not implement advertising cookies, third-party analytics scripts or a payment checkout. We will update this notice when those practices change.
